Yavuz Yıldırım

Yavuz Yıldırım graduated from Uludağ University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 1999. After graduation, he started his professional career at Telsim Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. in 2002 and continued in various positions in sales and marketing units at Nortel Networks Netaş between 2004-2006 and Vodafone Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. between 2006-2009.

He joined Türk Telekom in 2009 as SME Sales Operations Manager and contributing to the establishment of the SME Sales Channel. During this period, Yavuz Yıldırım became the Wholesale Director in November 2011 and the Head of Türk Telekom Wholesale Customer Business Unit between April 2015 and December 2016.

Yıldırım worked as Assistant General Manager of Turk Telekom Wholesale Services between December 2016 and November 2023. Yavuz Yıldırım has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Turk Telekom International since November 2023. He is married and has 2 children. Yavuz Yıldırım speaks English as well.

Chief Financial Officer

Hakan Oduncu

Hakan Oduncu, after Kadıköy Anadolu High School, graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Physics and Engineering in 1999, He later earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Sweden's Mälardalen University, and completed a postgraduate degree in Strategy and Risk Management at Stanford University.

He began his career in the banking sector, holding roles in controlling, credit management, and risk management at Finansbank and HSBC. He then transitioned into the real sector, first serving as Controller at Abbott Pharmaceuticals and later as Purchasing Engineer at Ford. Subsequently, he worked as Billing and Finance Manager at Vodafone.

He joined Türk Telekom in 2007 as Revenue Assurance Manager, where he led the establishment of the company's first revenue assurance and fraud management department. He then became Group Finance Projects Manager, focusing on strategic initiatives primarily related to mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. During this role, the successful acquisition of Pantel Group in Europe was also completed, which later became Türk Telekom International Group.

He was appointed as Finance Operations and Risk Director at Türk Telekom International Group in 2013, where he contributed to restructuring the company, improving financial performance, and aligning its operations with Türk Telekom Group’s systems and policies. Hakan Oduncu has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer since 2018.

Chief Sales Officer

Ömer Demir

Ömer Demir attended Washington State University and University of Texas in Arlington. He attained Bachelors of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Business Development.

After graduating, Ömer Demir started his professional career at Texas Instruments as Quality Assurance Engineer located in Dallas, TX. He later joined Avmat as the Purchasing and Contracts Manager, where he negotiated contracts with Boeing and Airbus for various purchasing and manufacturing licenses. In 2012, he continued his career as the Sales and Marketing Director for the Middle East, CIS countries and Africa at Aereos HQ in Texas. During this role, he achieved an impressive turnaround, increasing annual earnings, and overall footprint for the company in the regions he was responsible for. 

Prior to joining Turk Telekom International, Ömer Demir worked as the Sales and Business Development Director at MTU Maintenance GmbH, the third largest aircraft engine production and maintenance facility in the world, where he was responsible for the regions such as Türkiye, Russia, Eastern Europe and Turkic countries. 

Omer Demir brings his international sales, marketing and business development skills alongside his fluency in 4 languages to Turk Telekom International as Chief Commercial Officer in which he has been serving since 2021.

Chief Technology Officer

Zekeriya Erkan

Zekeriya Erkan graduated from Karadeniz Technical University in 1988 with Electrics and Electronics Engineering degree.

He has started his career as Radio Link Engineer at Technical Operations and Maintenance Department at Turkish PTT in 1989 and then actively took roles in various projects and programmes such as Aycell GSM network, Regional Operation Centres, Umbrella Management Platform and establishment of SMC centers.

He has been in charge of different Transmission departments  between 2000 to 2017 and he has taken job as Chief Technology Officer of Türk Telekom International since February 2017.
